Bandai has refreshed the Banned/Restricted Card List for the ONE PIECE Card Game, with the latest changes taking effect on 10 April 2026. Decks may normally run up to four copies of a given card number, but for official and sanctioned tournaments a handful of cards are singled out as Banned Cards, Banned Pairs, or Restricted Cards — and that list shifts as the metagame evolves.
How Bandai approaches the list
The development team frames its goal as keeping a wide range of leader-based decks viable and the environment diverse. When deciding whether to add a card, it weighs the deck's win rate, results at major tournaments, usage rate, likely influence on the future environment, and whether it crowds out other leaders. Cards can also come off the list once the environment moves on. Revisions are normally announced twice a year — after Championship Season 1 in Japan and after the World Championship — though a card can be added sooner if it's judged to be hurting the experience.
What changed on 10 April 2026
The revision introduces a new Banned Pair: OP07-115 "I Re-Quasar Helllp!!" and EB04-058 Borsalino can no longer appear in the same deck. The restriction also covers their parallel (alt-art) printings.
The current list at a glance
