Bandai is marking the launch of the six new starter decks with the Beginners Deck Party 2026, a shop event tuned specifically for people who are new to the One Piece Card Game. The hook is simple: everyone plays one of the latest starter decks, so nobody turns up with a fully-built competitive list and the playing field stays level.
The prize cards on offer are all designed to slot straight into one of those decks, so anything you win is immediately useful. You can find a participating store through the TCG+ app.
There are two exclusive prize packs, each with six types of card (one card per pack):
Player applications open from 17 July 2026 through TCG+ (a Bandai Namco ID is required). Stores also apply through TCG+ to receive their tournament kits, and since each store handles registration a little differently, it's worth confirming directly with your local shop. Play follows the official rules and FAQ, and only genuine cards are allowed — no photocopies.
