From 1 April 2026, Bandai's Block Number System defines the pool of cards eligible for Championships and other official tournaments. Because the competitive environment keeps evolving, the block assigned to certain card numbers can be revised over time — and Bandai has just refreshed those assignments, with the latest changes dated 29 May 2026.
Cards generally permitted in Standard Regulation
Super Parallel Rare cards from earlier products — and any card that shares their card number — stay legal in Standard Regulation whether or not they have been reprinted. From April 2026, newly released Super Parallel Rares (and same-numbered cards) enter with Block Number "X" and, like the Super Parallel Rares before them, generally remain legal in Standard Regulation.
The 29 May refresh folds in the OP-16 entries — Kuzan, Sakazuki and Borsalino — alongside the existing roster:
List current as of 29 May 2026.
Cards eligible under Block Number 4
Regardless of any reprints, the following cards are treated as belonging to Block Number 4. They are legal in Standard Regulation from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029:
List current as of 23 July 2025.
Reprinted cards with updated Block Numbers
Bandai notes that any relevant reprints released after April 2026 will be added to this section as they appear.
