Pirates Party is back for its second 2026 edition, and it remains Bandai's most laid-back organised play series, built so that newcomers and veterans can jump in without any pressure. It runs from 1 July to 31 August 2026.
A casual event with four formats
Pirates Party is even more relaxed than the Store Tournaments, and each participating store can choose from four different formats when it hosts an event:
- Constructed — the standard one-on-one battle.
- Limited Deck Battle — after gathering player feedback, Bandai has grown the banned list here from the Top 10 to the Top 15 cards.
- 2-on-2 Battle — team up with a friend; arriving from Vol. 3 in September.
- Themed Battle — from Vol. 2 onward, only Paramount War-related Leader Cards may be used. The exact list is published before each event period, and alt-art versions are allowed.
New participation promo cards roll out every two months, and a Welcome Pack is introduced every six months.
Prizes
The participation prize is P-155 Trafalgar Law. Because of the huge number of applications, some stores will offer alternate prizing. Newcomers can also pick up the Welcome Pack 2026 Vol. 1.
Leaders banned in the Limited Deck Battle
The following Leaders, including their alt-art versions, cannot be used in the Limited format:
